    Description

    The Human Resources and Recruiting Coordinator will assist the local Human Resources Director and Recruiting Manager with activities such as staffing, local office communications, policies and procedures, training and development, onboarding, recruiting (both campus and experienced hiring), maintaining confidential human resources related information, and overall office operations.

     

    Primary job responsibilities include providing administrative support of the recruitment process, including coordination and communication with career services centers and all candidates, attending campus recruiting events, coordination of all interview schedules, and pre-screening candidates; on boarding notifications; updating recruiting activity utilizing iCIMS; assisting in the scheduling process using Handshake and Symplicity. In addition to providing administrative support to the recruiting process, the HR and Recruiting Coordinator will assist in scheduling local office trainings; qualifying sessions for CPE/CLE credit, and submitting documentation for accreditation.  Additionally, the HR and Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for providing informational updates and reports to local management as directed by the Human Resources Director.  This person will be called on as needed to assist with diverse projects such as planning office events, onboarding new hires and conducting quarterly follow up meetings.  This is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in an HR career who is seeking to gain exposure to a variety of HR functions.

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

     

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related degree is preferred with a minimum GPA of 3.0;
    • Zero to 2 years of relevant work experience;
    • Professional services firm experience a plus;
    • Recruiting experience preferred;
    • Advanced knowledge in Excel is preferred;
    • Knowledge of iCIMS, Ultipro, ProStaff or related databases a plus;
    • Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail;
    • Analytical, strategic, and critical thinking skills; responds to requests with a sense of urgency;
    • Ability to respond favorably to a changing environment;
    • Excellent process and problem solving skills;
    • Effective communication skills, including verbal, written and listening and
    • Willingness to work overtime.
