    Description

    A Portfolio Administrator is responsible for managing and executing the daily tasks within the Portfolio Management team (e.g. trading and reporting); coordinating with the client operations team; and ensuring and reconciling all client data. The Portfolio Administrator should have strong communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to work well within a team and multi-task, be proactive, and be able to maintain a positive attitude in a fast paced environment. The Portfolio Administrator should also have strong client service skills, a passion for excellence and the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.

    The Portfolio Administrator will also fulfill an array of duties including, but not limited to, set up and maintenance of client accounts; compilation and completion of client, custodian and firm paperwork; review and maintenance of client transactions and activity; working with our reporting partners (Fortigent and Altair); client billing; maintaining client files and updating the CRM as necessary; and general support of the Investment Consulting practice.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities

     

    The Portfolio Administrator can expect to focus on the following areas:

     

    • Ensure and reconcile client data; including all cost basis information.
    • Execute and coordinate trades, money manager requests and asset transfers.
    • Assist with client transactions and activities, proactively communicating completion/issues with team members.
    • Manage the integrity of account data for reporting purposes.  
    • Preparation and delivery of performance reports
    • Complete firm, client and custodian paperwork as needed.
    • Assist with new client onboarding, including the setup of new client and additional client accounts.
    • Maintain and secure client files and update CRM as necessary.
    • Support investment team as needed including marketing and client service.
    • Represent Andersen Tax in the best possible way to ensure the highest possible reputation.

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably with a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA).
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Meticulous attention to detail.
    • Strong writing skills.
    • Professional demeanor.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high pressure fast pace environment.
    • Experience utilizing a CRM.
    • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint.
