    Description

    In this position, the HRIS Associate will assist the HRIS Manager in the technical and operational functions of the firm’s HRIS. The HRIS Associate will be responsible for managing day to day operations of our firm’s onboarding and offboarding portal and the data integration with our HRIS. The Associate will also work in our HRIS and onboarding/offboarding portal to manage employee data, design and generate reports, assist with new technology projects, train and answer questions of Human Resources colleagues, troubleshoot problems, document procedures, and continuously look for new ways to automate processes.

     

    Primary job responsibilities include:

    • Manage onboarding and offboarding workflow to ensure accurate data integrations between our onboarding/offboarding portal and our HRIS
    • Work with Human Resources colleagues to answer questions, troubleshoot problems, and provide day to day technical support for the onboarding and offboarding processes
    • Develop advanced proficiency within our HRIS in order to manage confidential employee data and assist with all elements of configuration, maintenance, integration, testing, ongoing administration of our HRIS
    • Develop, maintain, produce, and analyze complex reports to meet internal and external reporting requirements
    • Identify, suggest, and help implement best practices and process improvements
    • Participate in new technology projects including new system implementations, integrations, and system enhancements
    • Proactively works to improve reporting (value-add, efficiency, quality, speed) and delivery processes considering all available technologies
    • Assist in administering all employee self service activities, including creating instructional guides for employees
    • Continually streamlines HR business processes through use of technology
    • Provides training and procedures for HR representatives to utilize our HRIS and Onboarding/Offboarding portal
    • Works with Benefits Director to support our employee benefit processes and to configure HRIS for benefits enrollments
    • Respond to employment verification requests
    • Administer our paperless employee file system
    • Process employee status changes in HRIS
    • Assists with additional, ad hoc HR projects, as needed

     

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business, IT, or a related field
    • Knowledge of and experience with UltiPro and/or SilkRoad Onboarding (formerly RedCarpet) preferred
    • 2 or more years’ relevant work experience
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
    • Experience writing reports in HRIS reporting modules preferred
    • A ‘systems’ thinker with a process orientation and significant attention to detail
    • Ability to manage tasks independently from start to finish
    • Professional demeanor
    • Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and duties in a fast-paced environment
