    Description

    The NorCal Recruiting and Staffing Associate is a dynamic part of office administration. This employee will assist with the execution of the campus recruiting strategy, as well various aspects of the recruiting process. The NorCal Recruiting and Staffing Associate works closely with the NorCal HR Manager to develop and execute hiring plans, coordinating and managing candidate interviews, and helping candidates with other aspects of the recruiting process. Responsibilities entail event planning, including but not limited to campus activities, career fairs, and internship program activities.

     

    In addition to recruiting responsibilities, the NorCal Recruiting and Staffing Associate is responsible for assisting with coordination of local office staffing. This employee works in coordination with the NorCal HR Manager in charge of staffing and other client serving professionals to adjust schedules and meet staffing and resource needs.

     

    Primary Responsibilities Include:

    • Manage campus hire interview process including: screening resumes, selecting candidates for interviews, conducting initial phone screens with candidates, preparing candidates and coordinating arrangements for upcoming interviews, managing offer approval process and final disposition status;
    • Manage ongoing relationship building with students, student organizations, faculty, and Career Services at our target campuses to help achieve campus recruiting strategy and provide a market-leading candidate experience
    • Execute and participate in campus recruiting activities such as campus presentations, career fairs, “sell” receptions/dinners/weekends, etc.
    • Maintain timely and accurate data in the applicant tracking system as well as monitoring campus job postings
    • May serve on project team for various intern events or firmwide initiatives;
    • Assist local HR Manager with staffing;
    • Send and manage correspondence with client service professionals regarding staffing activities;
    • Assist other local Human Resources and Administration team members with projects as needed.

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field preferred;
    • A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience; public accounting experience preferred;
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
    • Solid communication, interpersonal and writing skills; 
    • Ability to build strong relationships and networks
    • Professional demeanor;
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
    • Basic understanding of campus recruiting
    • Problem-solving and event-planning skills
    • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
