    The Human Resources Senior Associate will serve a number of functions on the National Human Resources team.  He or she will serve as a generalist to our national groups, the National Administrative Office (NAO) and the US National Tax (USNT) group under the direction of the Director of Strategic Initiatives.  The Senior Associate will also assist the Talent Management and Compensation Senior Manager with performance management and compensation activities.  The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing, and will also possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

     

    Primary job responsibilities include:

    • Serve as a generalist to our national groups, the National Administration Office and the US National Tax group
      • Consult with group heads to on a variety of HR matters including career development, compensation, performance management, and employee relations
      • Build relationships with employees in the groups supported and serve as a resource for problem solving, questions, and advice
      • Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding process through online platform, SilkRoad
      • Manage administration related to employee populations supported, including maintaining digital personnel files
      • Foster employee engagement throughout the groups supported by fostering a sense of community (despite employees being distributed across the country)
    • Work with Talent Management & Compensation Senior Manager on various aspects of our Compensation and Performance Management processes
      • Assist in all aspects of our salary planning and bonus administration process including preparing materials and spreadsheets in preparation of salary and bonus planning timelines and supporting all aspects of the compensation administration timelines
      • Support our performance management process including assisting in system administration, developing and running reports, and preparing communication and training materials
    • Handle a range of activities related to our Managing Directors (Partners) including tracking new hires/ transfers/terminations, maintaining digital personnel files, managing the Managing Director review process, and assisting with Managing Director compensation administration
    • Manage Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) program, including coordinating all new and terminating FWA plans
    • Coordinate monthly firmwide HR team meetings
    • Coordinate with payroll to ensure payment of signing and referral bonuses
    • Maintain procedures manual followed by our local office Human Resources team
    • Lead and participate in various projects across the Human Resources function

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business or a related field
    • At least 4 years of relevant work experience
    • Must have advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Professional services firm experience a plus
    • Excellent process and problem solving skills
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
