    At Andersen Tax, knowledge is our business, and it is our belief that outstanding client service is a byproduct of quality professionals, supported by best-in-class training.  As a member of the national Learning & Development (L&D) team, the L&D Administrator will play a key role in supporting the expanding training initiatives of our growing firm. 


    The L&D Administrator will assist with the administration of local and national firmwide training, particularly as it relates to maintaining the firm’s Learning Management System and documentation required for issuance of continuing education credits.  The Administrator will assist in the preparation of firmwide communications and will be responsible for design and updates to the firm’s intranet site and the event app for firmwide training programs.  In this role, the L&D Administrator will collaborate with other members of the L&D team, as well as have the opportunity to engage with a variety of professionals around the firm.  The Administrator will report to the national Learning & Development Manager. 


    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Collection, tracking, and processing of documentation consistent with the firm’s regulatory and policy requirements as a sponsor of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) via the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as well as Continuing Legal Education (CLE) in certain jurisdictions
    • Maintenance of the Learning Management System, including creating learning programs, entering learning paths, updating user profiles, and generating reports
    • Creating, updating, and expiring user profiles and accounts as it relates to firm-provided learning content
    • Updating PowerPoint presentations to ensure consistency in formatting and compliance with firm standards
    • Preparation of evaluations in Survey Monkey, including download and distribution of survey results
    • Updating the firm’s SharePoint Learning & Development intranet site, including original development of content and site design
    • Creating and updating the event app for firmwide training programs, including attendee and speaker rosters, agenda items, and other program details
    • Drafting firmwide communications including training announcements, program invitations, and newsletters
    • Assisting firm professionals with training-related inquiries
    • Maintenance of the L&D team calendar and scheduling of calls
    • Creating and updating codes in the firm’s time entry system
    • Coordinating with the national training and event planner to provide cross-coverage of responsibilities and assisting with special projects, to include event administration and webcast and video conferencing setup and moderating


    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a professional services environment; experience with a tax firm preferred
    • Dedicated to client service, organized and professional; a team player
    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, engaged, and proactive
    • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels, verbally and in writing
    • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office:  Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
    • Ability to learn and implement new technologies
    • Experience with Learning Management Systems, SharePoint, Survey Monkey, event apps, and webcast delivery a plus
