The Role

Global Reporting are members of the internal Andersen Tax Finance team.  They serve as the liaison between the Andersen Tax U.S. Finance team and our global Finance constituents to monitor financial-related activities.  Finance Associates supporting the Global Financial Reporting function have the following responsibilities:

  • Maintain records for Member Firms in the Workday Adaptive Insights Web Portal.
  • Prepare and analyze Global Financial Reports including results of operations and profit and loss statements reported by Andersen Global Member Firms, Collaborating Firms, and other constituents.
  • Assist in the Consolidation of Financial Results of Member Firms by Region;
  • Consolidate, review, and analyze Annual Operating Plans and Mid-Year Forecasts.
  • Process, review and secure approvals for intercompany invoices and expense reimbursements; complying with IRS and other regulations pertaining to processing payments and communicating with foreign affiliates; 
  • Prepare monthly invoice payables report detailing payments made to third parties.
  • Prepare the Quarterly Peer Report which measures and ranks individual partner statistics and various metrics on their portfolio of jobs supervised.
  • Validate and Reconcile year-end Member Firm Statutory Reports and update adjustments in the Workday Adaptive Insights database.
  • Update and design reports using the Office Connect report writing module;
  • Compile and Analyze key performance indicators and metrics;
  • Design new reports in our Global Financial Reporting Portal – Workday Adaptive Insights;
  • Special projects and ad hoc analysis;
  • Design and implement internal controls including reconciliations, reasonableness tests and roll forward activity for Member Firms;
  • Document and adhere to policies and procedures; and,
  • Improve and automate workflows.

 

Compensation and Benefits

 

Our firm offers competitive base compensation, benefits package, and a discretionary employee bonus program for eligible employees based on individual and firm performance metrics per the defined program guidelines. For individuals hired to work in New York, the expected salary range for this role is $75,000 to $99,000; the actual salary offer can vary based upon employee qualifications.

We offer paid time off, beginning at 160 hours annually and provides twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Compensation: In addition to competitive base compensation, our firm offers annual discretionary bonuses based on firm and individual performance, a discretionary long-term cash incentive program, and other forms of discretionary compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range scale.

The Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in accounting or finance.
  • 0 – 4 years of related work experience.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with attention to detail.
  • Mandatory: understanding of Excel formulas and reporting skills.
